Abstract
In this work, we have decided to focus our research on films and songs as a way to observe the influence exerted by the dueling powers during the Cold War, because they not only show the information that society consumes, but also reflect the common beliefs of society or of a specific group to which the author of a certain work belongs. The objective of this research is to analyze how this information was reflected in Cuba, Chile and Nicaragua, in such a way that it allows us to understand how this influence shaped socio-political thought and popular culture in Latin America.
