Javier Vergara is a third-year high school student at Curimón School in San Felipe, with an interest in Economics, Political Science, and Mathematics. He is a student at the UC Talent Academy. Finalist of the Keneth Garshina Undergraduate Students Essay Contest of the Mises Institute AERC 2025, with an article published on the Mises Institute's website. Shortlisted for the John Locke Institute Global Essay Prize 2025. Distinction in the London School of Economics Students Union Economics Society Essay Competition 2025. He has been awarded a scholarship to attend the Summer Courses of the John Locke Institute in Princeton, the Summer University of the University of Las Hespérides in Spain, and a seminar at the Ayn Rand Center in Buenos Aires. He has published a translation with Unión Editorial and has been certified in the Political Science College Program at Universidad del Desarrollo.
